BRIEF: Male suspect sought in W. Toledo robbery

Feb 11, 2012 (The Blade - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Toledo police are seeking information through the Crime Stopper program about an early morning robbery at a West Toledo convenience store last month.

On Jan. 17, a man entered the 7-Eleven at 3749 Upton Ave. about 4 a.m., walked behind the counter, grabbed cartons of cigarettes, and fled.

He was last seen westbound on Berdan, police said.

The robber was described as black, thin, in his late 30s or early 40s, and about 5 feet, 8 inches tall.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Crime Stopper program. Callers may remain anonymous and might be eligible for a cash reward.
