BRIEF: Ma Ying-jeou hopes Jeremy Lin's example can instill teamwork in Cabinet

TAIPEI (THE CHINA POST/ANN) -- Taiwan President Ma Ying-jeou yesterday cited the NBA sensation Jeremy Lin as example of the importance of teamwork for the new Cabinet, according to the presidential spokesman.
Ma was meeting with the members of the new Cabinet when he told them should learn from the Taiwanese-American New York Knicks player, who has sparked the "Linsanity" after outstanding showings over the past week, the spokesman said.
Ma was cited as saying that Lin is a superb player not only because of his personal skills, but also because of his ability to enhance teamwork.
The president urged the Cabinet members to treasure team spirit, and step up inter-ministry communication, spokesman Fang-Chiang Tai-chi said.
