BRIEF: Hartford Police Search For Burglar
HARTFORD, Feb 14, 2012 (The Hartford Courant - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --
Neighbors of a resident whose home on Pembroke Street was burglarized Monday told police they saw a man walk into the house with one back pack and walk out with three, police said.
Neighbors called the victim at 4 p.m. to tell her her front door was open. The victim rushed home and, after looking through her belongings, discovered two cell phones, two computer notebooks, a laptop computer, an Xbox and jewelry were missing, police said.
Witnesses said the suspect walked into the home between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.. He was holding one backpack, but was seen leaving with three, police said.
He was then seen boarding a bus at the corner of Blue Hills Avenue and Pembroke Street, police said.
