BRIEF: Comedian to perform this spring in La Crosse


Dec 17, 2012 (La Crosse Tribune - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Comedian Rodney Carrington will perform in the La Crosse Center in April, and tickets to that show will go on sale at 11 a.m. Friday.

Carrington has recorded eight major label comedy albums, which have sold more than 2 million copies. He also is an actor who starred in the sitcom "Rodney" for two seasons on ABC.

He also co-wrote and co-starred in "Beer for My Horses" with Toby Keith. In 2008, Carrington co-starred in Trace Adkins' hit music video, "I Got My Game On" and later won a CMT Music Video Award for Supporting Character of the Year for his role.



He'll bring his act to the La Crosse Center at 8 p.m. Friday, April 19. Tickets will be available at the La Crosse Center, all Ticketmaster locations, www.Ticketmaster.com and by phone at 800-745-3000 beginning at 11 a.m. Friday.

The show is for mature audiences.
