BRIEF: Cash advance robbed

Nov 16, 2008 (The Paducah Sun - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --
A man robbed a local cash advance store Saturday morning after pepper spraying a store employee, Paducah police said.

The robbery was reported around 11:30 a.m. at Easy Money on Joe Clifton Drive. A female employee told officers a man entered the store and demanded money. When he had the money, he ordered the employee to the rear of the store and sprayed her in the face with pepper spray before leaving.



Police said the robber wore a black hooded jacket and red shirt. Anyone with information can Detective Matt Smith at 444-8553 or Crimestoppers at 443-TELL.
