BRIEF: Arizona tops nation for percent of recession jobs lost
Nov 20, 2009 (The Arizona Daily Star - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --
No state has lost a higher proportion of jobs in this recession than Arizona, the Economic Policy Institute reports today, citing Bureau of Labor Statistics data.
Arizona has lost 9.9 percent of its jobs-- about 265,000 -- since the recession began in December 2007, EPI reports.
