BRIEF: 'Akoo Theatre' coming to Rosemont

Feb 13, 2012 (WGN-TV - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- The Rosemont Theatre is now the 'Akoo Theatre' as the company has purchased the naming rights for the 4,400 seat venue.

Crain's Chicago Business is reporting the company will pay $1.5 million over the next five years to its current owner, the village of Rosemont.


Akoo International Inc., which runs an interactive music-television ad network serving shopping malls and college dorms, is described on the company's website as, "available throughout the U.S. in 165 Akoo Pavilions, which attract 64 million consumers each month in the most highly trafficked seating environments across the nation's premier shopping malls." ___ (c)2012 WGN-TV (Chicago) Visit WGN-TV (Chicago) at www.wgntv.com Distributed by MCT Information Services
