Bradford Networks Solution a Finalist for SC Magazine Europe Honor

Mar 02, 2009 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Bradford Networks, a provider of advanced network access control (NAC) solutions, has been announced as a finalist in the Best Network Security category for SC Magazine's 2009 Awards Europe.

Bradford was selected for NAC Director, its flexible out-of-band appliance family that leverages existing IT investments.

The SC Magazine Awards Europe salute solutions that meet the security challenges of today's high threat environment. The 2009 awards presentation will be held on April 28, at the Hurlingham Club in London.

"NAC Director has earned a steady stream of industry honors in the past 12 months, and this latest recognition further validates NAC Director's leadership position, making it a clear choice for customers who want the best defense for their wired, wireless and VPN networks," said Mike Gadoury, Bradford Networks founder and CEO. "Today, all IT networks are under relentless attack. NAC Director's flexibility, security and scalability have been key reasons why more than 120 new customers have invested in Bradford Network solutions in 2008." Bradford Networks said that its NAC Director helps address industry standards and government regulatory issues, including PCI and UK GSi Code of Connection (CoCo), respectively. For example, for UK organizations that need to be CoCo compliant, NAC Director addresses 18 of 28 CoCo control areas, easing the GSi connection process while strengthening security for sensitive information and systems. For PCI, NAC Director addresses 9 of 12 requirements by providing automatic identity management, endpoint compliance, policy enforcement, audit trail logging and reporting.
