Boy, 10, 'watched porn on his Xbox' [Daily Post (Liverpool, England)]

(Daily Post (Liverpool, England) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) A BOY of 10 alleged to have been raped in the toilets of his primary school had admitted to a teacher that he had been watching pornography on his Xbox games console at home.

He had also been looking at it on the home computer without his parents' knowledge, a jury at Mold Crown Court was told.

Teachers spoke to him about rumours he had told pupils he had acted inappropriately with his own girlfriend. The boy said while he had told other pupils to look cool that he had done that, it was not true.

Giving evidence, the teacher said that the boy told him that he had tried to stop watching pornography, but had continued to do so because of peer pressure from other boys.

The complainant, described as something of a loner, told the teacher that other boys would ask him about it.

The jury was told that the teacher said it was inappropriate for him to view such things at his age and they needed to inform his parents.

It was while the teacher was phoning his parents that the boy made the rape allegation to another teacher.

The teacher agreed with Duncan Bould, defending, that the rape allegation then became their concern.

The 10-year-old defendant denies raping the boy in school toilets in the Colwyn Bay area.

Cross-examined, the teacher agreed that staff had already been concerned about the complainant's behaviour.

He agreed that the boy said that he had a heart condition, and that he was going to die, when he did not have a heart problem. He had also said that he heard voices in his head.

The trial continues.
