Boris Becker to Serve up Inspiration at SAP Ariba Live2016

Boris Becker knows a thing or two about transformation. And success. As one of the greatest players tennis has ever seen, he continually adapted to outmatch the competition and win at the highest level. At 17, he became the youngest and first unseeded player ever to win the Wimbledon Men's Final. Defying the skeptics, he successfully defended the title the very next year and then again three years later. He went on to win six Grand Slams, twice held the Davis Cup for Germany, won Olympic Gold in doubles and twice held the position of World Number One in the international rankings. Now, he is coaching Novak Djokovic, who is currently ranked the world's number two tennis player. And on June 15, he will take to the main stage at SAP Ariba Live, the premier global commerce event, to serve up insights on how companies can think outside the lines to reinvent their businesses and deliver game-changing results.

"Success doesn't come easy. Whether in sports or business, it takes commitment, focus and a relentless pursuit of innovation," Becker said. "Winners aren't afraid of change. And I am pleased to be teaming with SAP (News - Alert) Ariba to help companies understand how they can embrace - and even drive it - to create advantage."

Serving up Innovation

Becker joins an all-star lineup of speakers set to present at SAP Ariba Live, including many of the more than 2 million companies around the world who are using SAP Ariba Solutions to redefine the way business is done.

"SAP Ariba is the largest business-to-business network on the planet. And the companies connected to it aren't just interested in automating the source-to-pay process or making it faster and easier to buy things," said Paul Devlin, General Manager, SAP Ariba EMEA and MEE. "They want to operate in totally new ways that disrupt their business - and entire industries - because they know that's where real transformation lies. SAP Ariba Live is a unique form in which they can learn to do this."
