Bonitasoft Announces Strong Revenue Gains in 2014

Bonitasoft, the fastest-growing provider of business process management (BPM) solutions, today announced a 62 percent subscription revenue increase in 2014, continuing its string of record annual revenues and strong growth across business segments and geographies.

The BPM disruptor's business gains were strongest in the United States, growing by 91 percent over 2013 and establishing the country as Bonitasoft's top-selling region. Revenues also grew by 70 percent in Latin America.

Overall, 71 percent of new subscription customers selected Bonitasoft's Efficiency or Performance editions, indicating a shift in the company's business portfolio to larger and more business-critical projects. The fourth quarter of 2014 was the best quarter ever in terms of new subscription customers.

"Our 2014 performance has validated our decision to think big-moving to the U.S. in 2011 to boost adoption and our business internationally," said Miguel Valdes Faura, CEO and co-founder of Bonitasoft. "We are proud to see the U.S. growing to become our number one country in terms of business. We are not only signing more and more customers, but also signing bigger contracts and mission critical deployments."

This past year Bonitasoft celebrated its fifth anniversary during a weeklong cluster of events at the company's European and U.S. offices. The events included companywide development sessions, charity drives and an announcement of the signing of Bonitasoft's 1,000th customer. The company's customer roster grew to 1,125 by the end of 2014 - more than double the total at the end of 2012 and more than quadruple the total at the end of 2011.

Bonitasoft has signed an impressive array of enterprise customers in its five-year history. New customers in 2014 included United Parcel Service (UPS), the French Ministry of Defense, Danone Japan, AREVA and the Ministry of Finance in Ecuador.

The company also added 45 new partners in 2014, bringing its partner total to more than 200. New virtuoso and maestro partners include Cenotech Solutions and MathCraft Inc. in the United States, SmartWave (Switzerland), Keinavo (Switzerland, Italy) and Velvet IP (Luxembourg) in Europe; and BM Laurus (Ecuador) and Assist Consultores (Colombia) in Latin America.

Bonitasoft was recognized for excellence in a number of areas in 2014. The company's Customer Support and Customer Success Team received a Stevie Award for Sales and Customer Service. Miguel Valdes Faura was named Globalist CEO of the Year at the CEO World Awards, and the company itself won a Best Open Source (News - Alert) Application award at the InfoWorld Bossies. Bonitasoft's Marketing Department won a Killer Content Award from Content2Conversation for its "Ultimate Guide to BPMN" and the company's Engineering Team was featured in an SOA World article about "Applying Advanced Agile (News - Alert) Methodologies."

This past year Bonitasoft introduced two new upgraded versions of its award-winning product suite: Bonita BPM 6.3 and 6.4. Innovations included new tools that enable developers to highly customize applications and monitor the health of actively running business processes.

The Bonita open source community was effervescent in 2014, with more than 6,000 new queries and responses. The community has grown to 120,000 members, and the number of registered users on Bonitasoft web sites has grown to 800,000.

The company is looking forward to continued growth during the coming year.

"In 2015 we will deliver major innovation in both our open source and subscription editions, as we support the 'developer heroes' throughout our extensive ecosystem," Valdes Faura said.
