Bobbie Peterson joins SBG Technology Solutions as Vice President to Lead Healthcare Transformation Efforts

Reporting to CEO Carlos Del Toro, Ms. Peterson will support SBG's clients in Healthcare Transformation and will work to further expand the company's Healthcare business line especially as it relates to the SDVOSB Prime Contractor role on the Department of Veterans Affairs T4NG vehicle. Ms. Peterson brings more than 20 years of diverse experience in business development, service delivery, and project management to her leadership position with SBG. She has played key roles in federal health IT and biomedical research business acquisition and has led teams awarded nearly a billion dollars during the past two decades by departments including Veterans Affairs, Health and Human Services, and Defense Health Agency. Her suppot of VA is based on leveraging successful relevant progress to advance areas such as VistA Evolution, Medical Scheduling, Immunization, Clinical Decision Support, and Meaningful Use.

Ms. Peterson's continued commitment to advancing health IT includes participation in Health Information Management and Systems Society (HIMSS), Open Source Electronic Health Record Agent (OSEHRA) and Project Management Institute (PMI), where she leverages best practice knowledge gained from these industry professional organizations. She holds a MS in Information Systems Technology Management from George Washington University and is recognized as both a certified Project Management Professional and a Certified Professional in Healthcare and Information Management Systems.
