Blemall.com Saw Increase of 169% in Sales

SHANGHAI, Nov 12, 2008 (SinoCast via COMTEX) --
Transaction volume of Blemall.com, one of the top-ranking online shopping malls in China, increased 169% to CNY 188 million during the one-month Shanghai Shopping Festival.

As the initiator of the festival, Blemall.com's mobile phone sector saw an increase of 750% in sales during the festival, with the signal-day transaction volume increasing more than ten times from the comparable period one year ago.

Daily transaction volume of mobile phones and mobile phone accessories topped CNY 5 million. The highest daily transaction volume hit CNY 8.5 million, reaching its all-time high.



Industry analysts point out that the online shopping mall's sales growth is mainly due to the fast penetration of e-commerce in China and its sound brand recognition. As one of the ecommerce heavyweights in this country, Blemall.com deserves credit for its high quality and low prices as well as its full-fledged distribution channel and after sales service network.
