The President of the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) Joseph S. Blatter praised Jeffrey Webb regarding his re-election unopposed as President of the Cayman Islands Football Association (CIFA) recently.
Blatter in a letter sent to Mr Webb said, "On the occasion of your re-election to the presidency of the Cayman Islands Football Association during its General Assembly held on June I would like to extend to you my deepest congratulations as well as my best wishes of success at the helm of CIFA for the next four years.
"This unopposed re-election represents a clear vindication of your action since your first election."
"Under your leadership CIFA grew tremendously in sports terms and their structures as well. I was extremely happy to join your football community two weeks ago for the inauguration of CIFA "House of Football" and noticed the regular progress accomplished since 2008 in FIFA Coca Cola Ranking with the 169th and 24th position in world and continental levels respectively."
Blatter went on to say that CIFA has also acquired an impressive international recognition within FIFA due to Webb's professional skills and total dedication to FIFA's Internal Audit Committee.
"Year after year, at the FIFA Congress, our colleagues have appreciated your brilliant and clear presentations in your capacity as Acting Chairman of the said committee," said Mr Blatter.
Blatter is one of the best-known figures in international sport, and under his leadership football has flourished extensively during the past decade. Most exceptional has been the growth of female football with the Women's World Cup being held on a regular basis.

He recently led a delegation of football heads to the Cayman Islands to participate in two significant events held here, namely the opening of the Centre For Excellence and the Gala Dinner for Excellence at the Ritz.
He was guest of honour at both events and was flanked by President of CONCACAF Jack Warner, Captain Horace Burrell President of the Jamaica Football Federation, Ac EUR Executive member of the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) Senior Vice President of Caribbean Football Union (CFU) and member of the Disciplinary Committee of FIFA and Geoffrey Thompson of the English FA.
