Bitbar Introduces Intel Atom-Based Devices on Testdroid Cloud for Free of Charge [Professional Services Close - Up]

(Professional Services Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Bitbar said that it is now providing all Intel Atom-based Android devices in its Testdroid Cloud service for free.

According to a release from the company, Testdroid Cloud enables mobile application and game developers to use its device arsenal for developing, testing, and verifying the correct functionality and behavior of apps on hundreds of real devices, by different OEMs, with different OS versions and hardware configurations, with either manual or automated access.

The free use of Intel Atom-based devices at Testdroid Cloud provides Android app developers an instant way to test their apps, games and services on real devices. Testdroid Cloud supports all mainstream test automation frameworks for Android and iOS, such as Appium, Calabash, Robotium, uiautomator, UI Automation, Espresso and many others, which users can use to test their native, hybrid and web apps.

"Intel is working with its OEMs and ODMs worldwide to introduce a wide range of Intel powered Android tablets to help achieve our stated goal of shipping over 40 million Intel-based tablets this year," said Scott Apeland, Director of Developer Programs at Intel Corp. "This free testing service from Testdroid enables the Android app developers to test their apps quickly, make improvements, if required and bring these apps to life faster for the Intel-based mobile devices." "We're happy to collaborate with the world's largest semiconductor company to enable our application development and testing ecosystem to access all possible Intel powered in-market Android devices for free. Furthermore, we're excited to launch our remote device access feature - Testdroid Interactive - providing a direct manual access to all of these devices," said Jouko Kaasila, President and CEO of Bitbar.
