Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and Eight Pilot Agencies Launch New Web Sites Leveraging Kintera Social CRM; New Web Sites Use Social CRM Platform to Drive, Capture Online Donations, Volunteer Recruitment

SAN DIEGO --(Business Wire)-- July 25, 2006 -- Kintera(R) Inc. (NASDAQ:KNTA) today announced the launch of a new national Web site for existing client Big Brothers Big Sisters of America (www.bbbs.org) and several pilot sites for local Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies -- all leveraging Kintera's social CRM system on the Kintera Sphere(R) technology platform.

Using a virtual account structure within Kintera Sphere, the new Web sites feature consistent branding across the organization and its piloting agencies, and use the Kintera social CRM system to enable and capture online donations, recruit volunteers to become Big Brothers and Big Sisters, and enroll children in the mentoring program. Prior to launching the new national Web site and pilot agency sites, each local Big Brothers Big Sisters agency housed its Web site individually. As a result of the launch, the nonprofit can now create information, branding and interactive Web features once -- and repeatedly share them with agencies across the country. The platform enables sharing of information and interactive features from the national office to agencies, and among the agencies themselves.

"Big Brothers Big Sisters of America can now leverage the power of one brand and one message throughout its organization on both national and local levels with our new site redesign," said Robin Palley, Vice President of New Business Development for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. "Using the Web and e-mail capabilities of Kintera's social CRM system, we are now able to drive and capture online donations and volunteer registrations -- making future supporter interactions more personalized and effective."

The eight pilot sites are local agencies in San Francisco, San Diego, Cleveland, Charlotte, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Puget Sound, Wash., North Texas and Southeastern Pennsylvania. With more than 450 Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies operating in the United States, several hundred of them are expected to join the Kintera Sphere technology platform following pilot phase completion, and benefit from the consistent branding and online capabilities available using the social CRM system.

The Kintera social CRM system enables organizations to drive all interactions based on comprehensive knowledge of constituents and provides a single, interactive system to manage relationships. Uniting constituents' online and offline experiences into one database, Kintera's social CRM system provides nonprofits and constituents with a total view of the constituent's relationship with the organization.

"While both the national and local Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies may start seeing immediate benefits -- such as improved donation revenue and increased volunteer registrations -- from the new Web sites, the long-term benefits provided by the social CRM system will help the organization build lifelong relationships with donors and volunteers," said David Lawson, vice president of market strategy for Kintera. "The information captured online and stored in the social CRM system provide the critical data needed to build relationships using meaningful communications to create a more powerful constituent experience with the organization."

Big Brothers Big Sisters of America also recently launched a new organization-wide intranet, Agency Connection, which uses the Kintera Sphere technology platform. Agency Connection will allow for customization of content based on user identity and draws upon the national intranet, extranet and local intranet to provide relevant, up-to-date content. The intranet will enable the fluid exchange of information in an intuitive, user-friendly and seamless format to provide increased efficiencies across the organization's daily functions.
