Bicoastal Communications Inc. Appoints a New Director to the Board and is Pleased to Announce a New VoIP Collaboration with a Facilities-Based Fiber Provider and Builder

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. --(Business Wire)-- June 21, 2006 -- Bicoastal Communications Inc. (Pink Sheets: GARS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Brad Leggett to the board of directors. Leggett brings with him a wealth of telecommunications experience spanning more than 30 years, including broadcast ownership, sales management and marketing.

Leggett is current chairman and CEO of Achieveus International, a national sales, customer service and training company.

Bicoastal Communications has been in negotiations with FiberSphere Communications, a national fiber infrastructure carrier, to begin testing approximately 800 fiber connected homes for digital phone service deployment in Bicoastal's home market. With successful completion of these tests as expected, the company will expand its deployment to include more than 25,000 residential homes in multiple communities.

William Hubbartt, president of Bicoastal Communications, stated, "We are excited because this is a great day for Bicoastal as we bring a level of expertise to the board that will help elevate Bicoastal to the next level."
