B2 Interactive Adds Seven to Omaha Digital Marketing Team

(PR Web Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Omaha, NE (PRWEB) October 31, 2014 B² Interactive, an Omaha-based digital marketing agency, added six full-time employees and an intern to its staff in October 2014. The new hires will contribute in the areas of content marketing, web development, sales, search engine optimization (SEO), and accounting and human resources.

"We have added a versatile group to our company," said Brandon Taylor, who co-founded B² Interactive with partner Bill Hipsher in 2012. "A few of our teams were just one or two people shy of being complete, and we found people who we think have the unique skills necessary to round out those teams." "It was important to find people who could contribute in multiple areas and quickly pick up on how everything comes together," added Hipsher. "I feel like we did just that." Both co-founders believe these additions will increase efficiency, promote cohesiveness with digital marketing work for clients, and add diversity to the company's culture.

Among the newcomers to B² Interactive are Angie Fiedler, Patrick Keaveny, Joe Jackson, Sierra Jones, Sunny Battazzi, Augusta Olsen Wester, and Lauren Dries.

Angie Fiedler originally started with B² Interactive in the spring working as a vendor of accounting services but was brought on as the firm's full-time Finance Controller in October. Fiedler ran her own accounting and bookkeeping business for nearly 15 years, helping young companies keep track of their finances. In her new role, Fiedler will aid in accounting operations to improve efficiency and bookkeeping for B² Interactive and its clients.

Patrick Keaveny studied computer science, journalism, and digital design and development at Creighton University, where he graduated in 2013. Because of his versatile education and experience, Keaveny will work on the content marketing, web development, and SEO teams as SEO Developer. His contributions on each team will improve consistency in SEO practices across all areas of the digital marketing spectrum, which will help client websites perform better in search engine results.

Joe Jackson previously worked in off-site search engine optimization for Inflection Omaha, a big data startup with multiple locations around the world. As an SEO Specialist with B² Interactive, Jackson will promote content, build stronger relationships with clients, and use his experience in off-site optimization to improve SEO practices and increase visibility and referral traffic to client websites.

Sierra Jones graduated from Doane College in May 2014 with a degree in journalism and media. During her time at Doane, Jones held the role of Editor-in-Chief of 1014 Magazine and was a Sports Marketing Intern for the Cox Classic. At B² Interactive, Jones has taken on the role of Search Marketing Specialist and will use her strong communication and writing skills to better optimize content for client websites.

Sunny Battazzi worked for Verizon Wireless and TSYS Merchant Solutions before joining the B² Interactive sales and account management team as an Account Manager. Battazzi will work closely with B² Interactive clients with a concentration on the firm's Storage.com project and use her previous sales experience to identify client needs and help them achieve their digital marketing goals.

Augusta Olsen Wester wrote and edited for Baltimore City Paper, Key West City Paper, and Shout Weekly before working at national e-commerce retailer Hayneedle, where she used her writing and editing skills to improve digital marketing initiatives, branding, and search engine optimization. At B² Interactive, Wester steps into the role of Digital Content Editor and will use her editorial and digital marketing knowledge to produce high-quality content for B² Interactive and its clients.

Lauren Dries joined B² Interactive as a Digital Marketing Associate at the beginning of her senior year at Creighton University, where she is studying journalism, media, computing, and business administration. As an intern, Dries will work on the content marketing team to create content for B² Interactive and its clients. Dries will also move around to work with other teams, as each B2 Interactive intern is given the opportunity to explore their strengths and develop skills in multiple areas of digital marketing.

As the agency continues to grow with new additions to its staff, Taylor and Hipsher are looking to not only add capacity for a growing client base but also to further deepen the core competencies of the digital marketing agency. "With the larger team, more diverse background, and wider range of experiences the firm is pushed to new levels that better serves all of our clients and projects," said Taylor.
