Azerbaijan launches production of another batch of photo kiosks

The Azerbaijani plant for production of computer equipment KUR starts production of another batch of photo kiosks, the KUR told Trend.
The plant has received orders from the companies that are interested to deploy network of photo kiosks in accessible public places of Baku.
So far, these devices are installed in Heydar Aliyev park in the Nizami district and one of internet clubs of Baku. By late 2010, depending on the needs the production of these devices will increase.
In 2010, amount of sale of photo kiosks will increase, the CEO of KUR Computer Plant, Rizvan Osmanov told Trend earlier. "Photo-kiosks will be available in hotels, shops and trade centers of Baku," he said.
In the equipment, besides computer, touch screens and dye-sublimation printers have been integrated for printing large photos in the 10x15, 13x18 and 15x23 formats. The cost of one photo in photo-kiosk is 0.25-0.30 manat. The kiosks are equipped with devices for receiving coins and check dye-sublimation printers.
Software of photo kiosks enables to edit images and record them on digital media (CD, DVD-drives, memory cards and USB-drives).
The cost of devices depending on the configuration is 5,000 manat.
