Azaleos Managed SharePoint Services Adoption Continues to Surge
SEATTLE --(Business Wire)--
Azaleos® Corporation,
the global managed messaging, collaboration and unified communications
services company, today announced that its private cloud Managed
SharePoint Services continue to grow at a breakneck pace following a
record setting year in 2011. Azaleos is an attractive SharePoint
outsourcing alternative to public cloud services like Microsoft (News - Alert)
Office365's SharePoint Online. Azaleos Managed SharePoint Services,
which represent an increasingly large portion of the company's overall
business, are used by numerous Fortune 500 companies and large
enterprises including Whirlpool, Nintendo of America, National Grid,
Mitsui Worldwide, Milliman, Luxury Resorts, Lam Research, Havi Global
and Booz & Co.
"Many companies are uncertain about how to architect, configure and even
manage SharePoint
infrastructures, but don't consider public cloud services viable for
privacy and compliance reasons. These market conditions have been
fueling the growth of our Managed SharePoint
private cloud business," said Scott Gode, vice president of product
management and marketing at Azaleos.
To expand the reach of its Managed SharePoint private cloud services, Azaleos
also announced today two new offerings. Azaleos SharePoint Starter
Edition enables departments within large enterprises to get a simple
managed SharePoint system up and running fast. For larger enterprises
adopting the powerful collaboration system for the first time, but
uncertain of their needs, Azaleos SharePoint Core Edition provides more
robust management services with a fixed set of functionality. Meanwhile,
the Azaleos SharePoint Premier Edition remains the best option for
enterprises with unique requirements and/or custom usage scenarios for
SharePoint.
"Our flagship Managed Exchange Services have always experienced strong
and steady growth, but demand for the Managed SharePoint Services and Managed
Lync Services over the last few years has broken company records,"
added Scott Gode.
Azaleos Managed SharePoint Services are based on two technology
innovations developed by the company. The patented AzaleosX platform
enables experts in its network operations centers to remotely manage
SharePoint, Exchange and Lync Server. The Azaleos SharePoint Calculator
estimates storage, server, bandwidth, and database sizing needs to
correctly plan and architect SharePoint deployments. This unique tool
incorporates several years of knowledge and best practices gathered by
Azaleos experts in designing, monitoring and managing SharePoint
environments for medium and large enterprises.
"Azaleos helps customers get SharePoint done right the first time and
ensures it remains up and running smoothly. With our new three tiered
Managed SharePoint Services offerings, an industrial strength, turn-key
collaboration system is now within reach of virtually any enterprise,"
commented Gode.
