Axentra unveils HipPlayTM, the personal media cloud that aggregates and plays any home and cloud content anywhere, anytime.

Release date- 08022012 - Ottawa, Canada - Today, Axentra announced HipPlay, the next generation personal cloud service that enables consumers to aggregate, play, share and protect their personal digital content stored on their computers, mobiles, tablets and cloud storage services.
The phenomenal growth of the smartphone and tablet market alone fuels the need for simple, real-time personal media access and sharing from any connected device through one simplified user interface.
HipPlay accounts and apps for mobiles, tablets and personal computers are deployed from the cloud and can be enriched by HipPlay-Ready home appliance devices such as home gateways, NAS and media-hubs.

Pricing and availability:
HipPlay will be available in Q2/2012 to consumers directly and through service providers as well as several OEM partners on various devices such as smartphones, memory sticks, USB drives, network attached storage drives and routers.
Consumers will be offered a free standard HipPlay account. They will have the ability to upgrade to a feature-rich Premium version of HipPlay for a one-time fee of $9.99.
A special version of HipPlay will also be made available to service providers as a white label turnkey solution as well as through a modular custom offering at extremely competitive costs starting as low as $1 per account per year.
