Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas Awarded Distribution 2011 Top Performance Award from 3M

The 3M Electronic Solutions Division interconnect business has awarded its Distribution 2011 Top Performance Award for North America to Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas, a business region of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT). The award recognizes Avnet's outstanding performance in revenue growth, design support of 3M interconnect solutions, and commitment to customer service excellence. The award presentation, held on May 8, coincided with the Electronic Distribution Show 2012 in Las Vegas.

Avnet carries a broad range of 3M (News - Alert) interconnect solutions, including connectors, sockets, headers, cables and cable assemblies.
