Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT), a leading global technology distributor, has announced that registration is now open to college student teams across the nation to compete in the Avnet Tech Games. Now in its 10th year, the Avnet Tech Games competition matches college students with real-world technology and engineering challenges in a high-stakes competition for college scholarships. This year's competition features both live and virtual games. The live onsite competition will take place on Saturday, April 11, 2015, at The University of Advancing Technology in Tempe, Ariz.
