AT&T U-verse TV Wins IP&TV Industry Award for "Best TV App" and "Best Consumer Device"

Dallas , Texas -- The IP&TV World Forum has once again recognized AT&T *, this time with two IPTV Industry Awards for AT&T U-verse® TV . AT&T U-verse TV won IP&TV Industry Awards for "Best TV App" for the U-verse App for Tablet and "Best Consumer Device" for the Wireless Receiver . The IP&TV Industry Awards honor service providers for their innovation, excellence and achievement in the IPTV industry.
The IP&TV Industry Award winners were announced Wednesday, March 21 at the 2012 IP&TV World Forum in London. This year, AT&T was a finalist in five categories: Best TV Service Innovation, Best Service Growth Achievement, Best Multiscreen TV Service, Best Consumer Device and Best TV App, the newest category in the IP&TV World Forum's award lineup.

Earlier this year, AT&T also launched the U-verse app for your tablet, which lets customers receive extra information about the TV shows they're watching, use their tablet as a remote control, watch hit TV shows on the go and more.
