Arlluk Technology Solutions, LLC awarded a $19M contract with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to provide a Container as a Service (CaaS) SolutionCHANTILLY, Va., Nov. 17, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Koniag Inc's Arlluk Technology Solutions, LLC has been awarded a contract to provide a turnkey Container as a Service (CaaS) solution to the Department of Health and Human Services Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The award is an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract valued at $19M over five years.
The FDA Office of Information Management and Technology (OIMT) is in an important phase of its Cloud First technologies initiative and by fielding a Containers as a Service (CaaS), FDA organizations will be able to build, ship, and run applications in a virtualized environment.
