Arkivum Continues to Expand Presence in North America, Scaling Its Boston Hub

Arkivum are continuing to expand and have achieved a number of key milestones over the last 6 months including the recently announced release of its new Arkivum version 5 technology stack.

A testament to Arkivum's expansion is our growing footprint in North America, which has led to the establishment of a Boston hub located in the Financial District. Arkivum's decision to grow its US HQ in Boston was because this city is considered to be a world leader in innovation and entrepreneurship as well as being in close proximity to many of our North American clients and partners. Boston is home to nearly 2,000 start-ups and an impressive economic base that also includes high education, finance and business services, biotechnology, information technology and government ativities. The new office, situated on Atlantic Avenue in front of South Station will serve as our HQ for Arkivum Americas.

Following the appointment of Yaron Naor, as VP and GM for the Americas last year, Arkivum has invested in hiring additional talent to further support the heritage, financial services, pharmaceuticals and life sciences verticals in North America; Carl Jones joins as Director Pharma/Life Science, Brian Morrison joins as Director Financial Services, and Mike Thuman, hired earlier this year is AVP of the heritage, libraries and higher education vertical in the Americas.

In addition, Arkivum has nominated Dr David Brindley, a pharmaceutical regulation expert and Research Fellow at the Harvard Stem Cell Institute to its advisory board to support the business in all matters regulation for the health and life sciences sector.

Steve MacLellan also joined the Arkivum Advisory Board earlier this year. Steve is a native Bostonian with extensive expertise in the Financial Services Sector. For over 26 years, Mr. MacLellan led advanced technology initiatives at Fidelity Investments including Cyber Security, Internet delivery, Enterprise Architecture, and application development.

Guy Yaniv, CEO of Arkivum concludes; "It is tremendously gratifying to witness that in its inaugural year, our US team has expanded and are instrumental in helping us build the Arkivum brand. Together with our fantastic Advisory Board we are committed to expanding in our focused sectors in the UK and North America respectively.

We have seen an increasing demand in all sectors for long term data lifecycle management and digital preservation and as such we are committed to bringing our customer-facing professional and domain experts close to where the market is.

I am excited to have a great team in place and looking forward to the next part of our journey as we continue to build upon our success so far."
