Arkansas First to Launch Gov2Go One-Tap Payments

Electricians licensed in Arkansas now have an easy, new way to renew their professional license thanks to online renewals and one-tap payments available in Gov2Go. The Arkansas Department of Labor (ADL) partnered with the Information Network of Arkansas (INA) to develop the nation's first one-tap payment integration in Gov2Go.

"We are excited to be the first agency to offer professional license renewal in Gov2Go," ADL Deputy Director Ralph T. Hudson said. "More than 13,000 electricians can now renew their licenses in minutes with just a few taps on their mobile phones, without having to leave the job-site. Not only are we simplifying the license renewal process, but we are positively changing their experience of government."

Gov2Go, the nation's first digital government assistant, brings together all of a citizen's personal government interactions into one place. Today, more than 400,000 Arkansans have subscribed to Gov2Go to rceive personalized, timely, and relevant notifications about their interactions with state and local government. Gov2Go learns about its users; keeps track of deadlines-such as voter registration, property tax payments, car tag (News - Alert) renewal, and property assessment; sends important reminders to their computers, mobile devices, and Apple Watches; and now offers one-tap payments.

All Arkansans can receive their own personalized government notifications through Gov2Go by visiting GetGov2Go.com to sign up with an email address or download the iOS and Android (News - Alert) mobile apps.
