WHAT:
The one-hour session, "Completing
the Loop: One FQHC's Experience Driving Whole Patient Accountability,"
will be an opportunity to learn how a Federally Qualified Health Center
(FQHC) used data to understand total cost and strengthen its position
for pending Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs). Mr. Principe and Ms.
Budd will explain the Health IT infrastructure and data necessary to
prepare for total patient accountability while illustrating the
challenges of using cost data in conjunction with quality data. The
presenters will also analyze key success factors and lessons learned
from a relatively small organization that successfully took the lead to
thrive under Health Reform.
Mr. Principe and Ms. Budd will also lead a "Meet
the Experts" panel where attendees can ask questions about the
implementation and learn best practices.
