Apace Web-Based postMAM 3 Provides In-Place Media Asset Management with Auto Ingest, Integrated Workflow and Efficient Global Collaboration
ORANGE, Calif. --(Business Wire)--
Apace Systems Corporation®, a leading media management, workflow and
storage product manufacturer for media content creation, distribution
and archive, announces immediate availability of its third generation
web-based media asset management (MAM) postMAM 3 to access, catalog, and
manage all media assets with integrated workflow on Apace storage
clusters and third party storage.
System integrators, resellers and OEM customers can readily deploy
pre-integrated postMAM for their end customers' media solutions. postMAM
significantly enhances end users' media content creation and management
productivity from instant search of their media local or global, to
integrated workflow of ingest, transcode, tape archive and other tasks.
It is heterogeneously scalable, offering file structure view and
in-place media management through intelligent indexing, ready for
editing over Apace storage systems.
postMAM 3's new and/or uniquefeatures include user definable task
pipeline workflow, simplified ingest and auto metadata handling with
watch folder, drag-drop to timeline, multi-transcode, multi-level
commenting (at time-code and in frame), attached document search, P2/XD
cam ingest, integrated editing application support (Avid, Adobe, FCP…),
rough cut, private Channels, and streamlined mobile access for iPad and
Android (News - Alert) devices. Desktop and mobile two-way access for all functions is
managed through a single web-based user interface. postMAM can also be a
media gateway for a private media cloud with controlled global and
mobile access.
Apace offers its media management platforms as a self-contained
appliance. postMAM 3 and postMAM 3 Pro versions range in functionality
and value, addressing different customer needs. For users with existing
third party storage silos, postMAM media gateway platforms can be
deployed. Also, Apace provides custom services to help migrating FCP
Server databases to postMAM to greatly reduce cost and time for
customers.
Apace Systems showcases its technology at NAB 2012 at Apace booth
#SL11515.
