ANGELS' DELIGHT

(Daily Record Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge) SCOTS singing sensation Daisy Chute has scooped a share of a pounds 1 million recording deal.

Daisy, 17, beat thousands of other aspiring choirgirls across the country to become part of the group All Angels.

The high-flyer went to posh Loretto School before moving to the renowned musical school, Purcell, in Hertfordshire.

Daisy, from Musselburgh, near Edinburgh, starred in Les Miserables when she was just nine, has appeared on the Edinburgh Fringe, made a solo jazz CD and performed on the kids' version of Stars In Their Eyes as Judy Garland.

She's been in several TV and radio plays and is the youngest singer to go on Humphrey Lyttelton's Radio 2 show.

Not content with all that, she has also been a reporter on BBC's Newsround.

Daisy, whose ambition is to become a singer and composer, said the group were excited about working together.

She said: "I hope All Angels lasts because I think that we have a lot to give.

"You could say it's manufactured but I don't think that's a bad thing. We make very good music together."

The quartet have secured a five album deal with recording giant Universal.
