AmIHackerProof.com Proves GOP Candidates Are Not Qualified to Handle National Cyber Security
LOS ANGELES, April 9, 2012 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ --
Hi-Tech Crime Solutions (OTC: SPFM) has listened for months to all of the GOP candidates talk about national security but very little has been said about national cyber security. "Right now the United States is in a cyber war with China and North Korea and sadly, we are losing. Since President Obama was elected to office, more elite cyber security experts have been utilized than ever before, but this still is not enough to fight off China, who outnumbers us 8 to 1," says Gregory Evans (http://www.GregoryDEvans.com), cyber security expert and creator of AmIHackerProof.com. "If you can't protect your own website by hiring the right team, how can we be assured that you can protect the nation's networks," says Evans.
From February 18th to April 2, 2012, AmIHackerProof.com scanned each candidate's website for vulnerabilities, like a hacker would, to see how secure the top candidates' websites are against being attacked. We contacted the campaigns prior to the release of this story, so that some of the information we are showing cannot be used by a would-be hacker.
What makes this situation alarming is that each of the candidates solicits donations at their websites, in addition to asking for visitors' personal email addresses. If a hacker infiltrated any of their websites, he could post phony press releases or access their entire email database and give or sell it to another candidate. A hacker could also insert their own PayPal account information so that donations would go directly to him and not to the campaign.
This is how they rated. (Some of the vulnerabilities have been fixed since the scan.)
Website Date Vulnerabilities

"When we saw the report on Rick Santorum we were floored," says Evans. "There were so many gaps in security that we were in awe. Potentially, in the wrong hands, this type of information could be used to change his standing in the GOP race."
