AliCloud to Integrate Five Services into a PlatformHANGZHOU, Nov 09, 2012 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- Alibaba Cloud Computing (AliCloud) has officially decided to integrate its five systems into a new platform, according to president and chief technology officer (CTO) of the company today. The five systems include Alibaba Cloud Computing, large-scale storage, cloud network, big data and cloud OS. The CTO said that AliCloud was developing the OS in order to provide a mobile Internet platform that can connect developers with mobile phone manufacturers. AliCloud was established on September 10, 2009. After an adjustment in 2012, AliCloud, tmall.com, taobao.com, etao.com, ju.taobao.com, Alibaba international business and Alibaba small-enterprise business became the seven major business divisions of Alibaba Group.
