Alan Grayson's yard becomes political fodder

Jun 07, 2009 (The Orlando Sentinel - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Maybe it was a slow day at The Washington Rumor Mill's Web site, or perhaps freshman Congressman Alan Grayson's opponents have run out of things to say.

The political gossip Web site posted an item last week pointing out that the grass needed to be cut at a home owned by Grayson in Vienna, Va. The item noted the grass in his yard was between 18 inches and 36 inches.

A neighbor finally trimmed the lawn after a code violation warning was posted on Grayson's door.

Grayson is the Orlando Democrat who defeated four-term Republican Congressman Ric Keller.
