Airvana Names Jay Hilbert as Head of Global Sales and Business Development


Airvana, a leading provider of small cell solutions, today announced the appointment of Jay Hilbert as the company's Head of Global Sales and Business Development. In this role, Hilbert will be responsible for developing and expanding relationships with mobile network operators, distribution channel partners and enterprises.

Hilbert brings more than 20 years experience in telecom, holding sales and business management positions with both large public companies and small private start-ups, including Alcatel-Lucent (News - Alert), ADC Telecommunications, and Spirent Communications. Prior to joining Airvana, Hilbert was the senior vice president of global sales and service at Cambium Networks (News - Alert), where hewas responsible for bringing in five of the world's top ten global wireless services providers as customers and driving double-digit revenue growth.
