Airband Channel Reports Sales Results for 2011
Mar 30, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) --
Airband Communications, a fixed-wireless voice and data provider for businesses in the U.S., announced that sales in its Channel Program grew by over 100 percent, and sales by its top 10 agents increased 120 percent collectively during 2011.
The Company said agents reported that the increase in sales is due to record-high demand for Airband's voice and data services, including Internet, VoIP and business continuity solutions that are delivered on Airband's fixed-wireless network.
Because Airband's fixed-wireless network bypasses the local phone and cable infrastructure, customers don't have to worry about downtime that can be caused by cable cuts or natural disasters. In addition, Airband customers can leverage the flexibility of fixed-wireless to upgrade bandwidth within hours, rather than waiting weeks for traditional providers to adjust their service. Airband also provides benefits to companies that need to move office locations within a short amount of time because its wireless infrastructure puts broadband over the air and is not constrained by last-mile network availability of wireline service providers.
Airband's 2011 top 10 agents based on sales performance are: eXemplify Group; RealCom Associates; TeleConsult Solutions; Aligned Communications; City Communications Integrated; Pro Technology Solutions, Inc.; Zoom Communications; Telarus, Inc.; World Telecom Group; and Sandler Partners.
"The flexibility of Airband's architecture, the scalability of their voice and data services and their willingness to offer a customized approach makes them a clear choice for many of our clients," said Robert Hayes, chief executive officer of eXemplify Group. "By pairing customer service with a reliable IT infrastructure, Airband delivers the high-quality voice and data services that eXemplify's clients demand, all within a cost structure that benefits our clients' bottom line."
According to a release, Airband worked with eXemplify to install a 450-seat hosted VoIP and Internet access solution for a business center owner whose seven properties previously operated on separate networks served by multiple providers.
The Company noted that the business center was looking to find a single-provider solution that could serve its voice and data needs because it wanted to eliminate the inefficient process of dealing with multiple service providers, inconsistent service and the frustration of processing and paying numerous invoices across its seven properties. To solve these problems, Airband upgraded voice services in all seven business centers, which totaled 450 seats at the time, and increased bandwidth 10-fold to 100MB for several locations, all while lowering overall costs.
"Airband is dedicated to providing high-performance, highly scalable voice and data solutions that effortlessly keep pace with customers' growth because we eliminate the worry over bandwidth or network availability," said Tom Lane, channel director at Airband. "Our Channel Program's explosive sales growth during the past year demonstrates that Airband is delivering products and services that have a meaningful and positive impact on business and the agent community. We look forward to further expanding the relationships with our partners in 2012."
Airband serves 17 markets across the U.S. including Atlanta; Austin; Baltimore; Dallas; Des Moines; Fort Lauderdale; Fort Worth; Houston; Las Vegas; Los Angeles; Miami; Orange County, Calif.; Philadelphia; Phoenix; San Antonio; San Diego and Washington, D.C.
Airband offers its agents competitive commissions, installations and the best channel support in the business.
