VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Feb 13, 2012 (Marketwire via COMTEX) --
B.C.'s Ombudsperson is expected to release a comprehensive final report this week on her investigation into "systemic issues" in seniors care in the province. The Vancouver Cross-Cultural Seniors Network, BC Health Coalition, and Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives look forward to her report, which is expected to include more than 100 recommendations to improve dignity, access and accountability in B.C.'s system of home and community-based care for seniors.
Spokespersons from each of the three organizations are available for interviews. Interviews can also be arranged with a range of other organizations concerned with seniors' care in B.C., as well as front-line service providers and workers.
