"Steve brings a unique perspective and a new skill set to our company," says Advito Managing Director April Bridgeman. "His progressive views on hotel sourcing, merchandising in managed travel and a strong understanding of hotel revenue management practices will provide tremendous insights for our clients."

Prior to joining Advito, Peterman had extensive experience with Expedia (News - Alert) Inc., including a position as director of hotels for Egencia, the company's corporate travel arm. In addition, he most recently served with HRS Hotel Solutions, leading new client development and U.S. expansion efforts.

"Corporate travel is undergoing the same disruptive process the consumer side of the business experienced years ago," says Peterman. "This is an exciting time! I look forward to leveraging my expertise in the consumer travel space - particularly in digital media to provide advantages to clients seeking to improve the traveler experience, enhance compliance and save money. Similar with how consumer sites rely heavily on data and audience targeting to convert sales, I believe there is a cross-over opportunity to incorporate a similar use of travel data to help clients optimize their supply and demand trends to achieve program goals."

In addition to its strength in traditional sourcing, Advito is investing in building its team to offer corporate clients the strategic expertise needed as the industry landscape evolves. Earlier this year the firm announced its Demand & Behavior Management Practice, building upon the success of its relationship between worldwide technology leader Cisco (News - Alert) and Advito's Total Collaboration Management and Traveler Engagement services.

"It's a compelling time to work in the corporate travel business," says Peterman. "I look forward to working with our teams to guide clients through the processes required to experience even greater benefits from their travel program, while meeting their company's business objectives."
