Acromove's ThunderPack Mini spotlighted at CineGear Expo 2017LOS ANGELES, May 23, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Acromove Inc. announced that they will be exhibiting at CineGear Expo 2017, the West Coast's premiere event for the digital production community, in booth B115 in the outdoor B-Tank area next to Red Digital Cinema. Acromove is also holding a drawing for a brand new ThunderPack Mini valued at $6,790 on June 15, 2017. The model being given away includes the Blackmagic Design HD video interface. The drawing is open to digital production professionals including Digital Imaging Technicians in Local 600, Virtual Reality creators, corporate producers, government agencies and others needing a rugged, portable Thunderbolt RAID. Entries are being accepted on their web site, www.acromove.com. The ThunderPack Mini is built using advanced, lightweight materials including aircraft-grade aluminum and carbon fiber elements. The unit is slf-contained in an IP67-rated watertight, dustproof Pelican case that can be stowed in an overhead airline bin. It uses a sophisticated power management system with a built-in Li-ion battery array that serves as a UPS and can power the unit up to 6 hours, as well as operate an external LTO drive. External battery packs can connect to the 12-22v connector as well as an optional solar panel. Its unique shockproof and patented disk pod holds eight 2.5" HDDs or SSDs impervious to shock and vibration. Capacity is up to 32TB.
