Accomplished Litigator David T. Meehan Joins Ulmer & Berne's Chicago Office as Partner

Ulmer & Berne LLP announces the addition of partner David T. Meehan to its Chicago office. Mr. Meehan joins the firm from BMO Financial Group, one of North America's largest financial institutions, where he most recently served as Vice President and Associate General Counsel.

Mr. Meehan is a seasoned litigator with more than 15 years of law firm and in-house experience advising companies in the financial services industry on a broad range of litigation and regulatory issues. At BMO Financial, he was primarily responsible for all U.S. retail banking litigation matters. Prior to this in-house role, Mr. Meehan was an attorney at a full-service law firm in Chicago representing banks and lending institutions in individual and class action lawsuits. His experience includes cases involving the Truth in Lending Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Fair Debt Collecting Practices Act, Electronic Funds Transfer Act, and various state consumer fraud and unfair practices statues.



Mr. Meehan earned his J.D. from DePaul University College of Law and his B.A. from Indiana University (News - Alert).
