Accedian's VCX Introduces Industry's First Virtualized Network Performance Assurance Controller for Mobile and Data Center Operators - NFV-powered controller disrupts performance monitoring norms for cost, capability, and capacityMONTREAL, Feb. 18, 2015 /PRNewswire/ - Accedian Networks, the Performance Assurance Solution Specialist, today introduced the SkyLIGHT™ VCX, the industry's first performance assurance controller employing Network Function Virtualization (NFV) to bring advanced monitoring capabilities network-wide, without the need for expensive, high-end test equipment. By eliminating key cost, scalability, and coverage barriers to network performance visibility, service providers can now more cost-effectively ensure a better quality of experience (QoE) for users. The VCX Controller combines centralized control with distributed test traffic generation to offer full mesh and segmented tesing that would be otherwise impossible due to cost, deployment effort, and feature shortcomings. The VCX Controller solves the challenges inherent with legacy solutions, which act only as simple test reflectors and lack the ability to initiate and generate test sessions.
