Arvest Bank extends posting cutoffs
If you're running to Arvest Bank to deposit your check -- guess what? When you make the deposit before 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, it will post the same day. Arvest announced this week its 24 branches in central Oklahoma have extended their posting cutoff to 7 p.m. The prior cutoff for same day posting was 5 p.m.
"We knew many customers were scrambling to get to the bank before 5 p.m. to get their checks deposited. Now they have a little extra time after work to make their deposits and receive the benefit of same day posting. That should make life a little easier for them," said Kelly Brander, president and CEO of Arvest Bank, Central Oklahoma.
Oklahoma City locations that will post deposits until 7 p.m. include branches in Oklahoma City, Choctaw, Del City, Edmond, Midwest City, Moore, Norman and Yukon.
