LIMA. x--08s. Prime Minister Stephen Harper says free trade could be an antidote to the global economic crisis. Harper told the APEC summit in Lima that world economic growth in the last part of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century has been in large part aided by international trade. He said this is not the time to put up barriers.
