4 INDEPENDENT DIRECTORS DROPPED FROM IOC BOARD(Indian Business Insight Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Indian Oil Corporation has dropped K Jairaj, Nesar Ahmad, Sunil Krishna and Sayan Chatterjee from the board as independent directors. The UPA Government had appointed the four independent directors on the board of IOC in Feb-Mar 2014. The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas is likely to review all appointments made by the previous Government. The company had planned to confirm the appointments at the annual general meeting on 27 Aug 2014. |
