14 SEEBURGER EDI Adapters SAP-Certified for Integration with SAP NetWeaver(R) PI; SEEBURGER's Total SAP-Certified Adapter Library Hits 28
ATLANTA --(Business Wire)-- SEEBURGER Inc. today announced the certification of 14 EDI adapters for use with the SAP NetWeaver(R) Process Integration (SAP NetWeaver PI) offering Release 7.1, along with recertification of 14 additional adapters designed for use with the SAP NetWeaver Exchange Infrastructure (SAP NetWeaver XI) Adapter Framework 3.0. Both sets of adapters integrate natively with the SAP NetWeaver technology platform, eliminating the need for a standalone EDI application.
The certifications by the SAP Integration and Certification Center (SAP ICC) advance a decades-old relationship between the two companies that has yielded joint projects around the globe. More than 1,600 SAP customers are currently using SEEBURGER EDI solutions - including almost 400 on SAP NetWeaver alone - to seamlessly integrate EDI operations with SAP business processes.
SEEBURGER's adapters that have achieved SAP-certified integration with both SAP NetWeaver XI and SAP NetWeaver PI include dedicated EDI solutions for the chemical, high-tech, automotive, aerospace & defense, consumer products, paper, pharmaceutical, retail and utility industries, as well as technical adapters for generic EDI, EDIINT AS2, OFTP, VAN Access and cross-industry payments. SEEBURGER and SAP will present the SAP NetWeaver PI offering and associated SEEBURGER adapter solutions in hands-on seminars at SAP TechEd 2008 Las Vegas in September and at SAP TechEd 2008 Berlin in October.
