Really Simple Systems Releases Its Mobile CRM

By Miguel Leiva-Gomez, TMCnet Contributor

Really Simple Systems, the biggest vendor of Cloud Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems in Europe, announced today that it has released its first mobile CRM application. The solution, which works through the web, works on practically every smartphone, supporting iOS, Windows Mobile, Android (News - Alert), and Blackberry. Some Internet-capable devices and tablets also are supported by the system.

Really Simple Mobile CRM gives you real-time access to data relating to your customers, sales, and prospects. You can modify information on Opportunities, Accounts, Tasks, Activities, and Accounts on-demand and in real-time from your phone. The application also makes use of Google (News - Alert) Maps to give you directions and map information when you need it.

John Paterson, CEO of RSS, says, “By building the application in HTML5 we have avoided the synchronization, installation and maintenance issues associated with downloadable apps. Running the mobile CRM application over the web makes sure that all updates are in real time and stays true to the 'no local software' Cloud philosophy. The need for physical infrastructure can hamstring a small company's ability to grow. Access to all of the company's resources while out and about is essential to an increasingly mobile workforce and the Cloud CRM is the perfect mechanism to deliver these simple business solutions via smart phones.”

Real Simple Systems is a CRM provider that helps small and mid-sized businesses have access to hosted CRM services for sales, marketing, and support. The services provided by the company mostly cater to those who have multiple locations or those who want to extend their work remotely and at the home. Organizations can have anywhere between 2 and 200 members.

The Enterprise edition of the CRM application offered by RSS is free. You must pay monthly to have access to the Premium edition of the service.
