4 Ways How The World Is Uniquely Dealing With the Coronavirus?

The first case of the latest pandemic dates back to November 2019. Yes, we are talking about the coronavirus.

This 30 kilobase virus has truly taken the world by a storm. With over 171,000 cases worldwide and nearly 6,500 deaths, the viral fever has really gone viral in the news and social media as well.

Many people have been quarantined, and many are trying to recover. Nearly every big airport in the world is screening travelers, and yes, travel is also being discouraged.

Several companies like Uber Ambulnz are working actively to break the transportation barrier for saving lives. Others are attempting to speed up the testing process, including offering drive-through testing. Whether it’s at the monetary front or concerning the health of humanity, several measures need to be taken. Here are how different organizations across the globe are dealing with the virus in their unique ways.

1. Yale New Haven Health Group’s Call Centers

Trying to play its vital part, the Yale New Haven Health group has set up and opened call centers for providing information regarding covid-19.

For availing the service, people can simply call the center and request for a video or an audio conversation with the assigned staff. Based on the conversation and observation, the staff will tell the patients whether they need to be tested for covid-19 or not.

Apart from this, the call center will also provide the right information regarding prevention, cure, and other safety measures regarding the pandemic.

2. Countries Discouraging Travel

Who doesn’t like to spend some good time on a happy exotic vacation? But would you want to do that amidst the coronavirus outbreak?

Well, sadly, not everyone is taking the risk as seriously as it should be taken. And hence, governments are having to step in and discourage travel to both national and international destinations.

In fact, some countries like India are suspending visa applications to break the spread of this virus.

Apart from this, many countries have set up screening centers where travelers are being screened, and when tested positive, they are being told to self-quarantine.

3. Work From Home

And here comes the word about traveling within the state as well.

As being in public spaces also means a threat at the moment, a large number of companies across the world have allowed and encouraged their employees to work from home so they can avoid travel and unnecessary physical engagement with people, which may lead to the spread of this disease.

And then there are companies where employees need to work on specific technologies that can’t be made available at their homes.

Clearly, the pandemic has hit the business hard. In fact, an upcoming economic recession is also being predicted.

4. Precautionary Caller Tunes

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of India has taken a step to make all Indian citizens aware about how they can prevent the spread of coronavirus.

This caller tune plays before the calling ring whenever a person makes a phone call. It talks about how people should be cautious and how they should maintain some physical distance from people that are starting suffering from cough, cold, fever and other breathing problems.

Also, the caller tune informs people about the importance of maintaining hygiene by keeping their hands clean and wearing a mask.
