If you’ve been looking for an opportunity to get together with industry executives to network, discuss solutions, learn about industry trends and even see some innovative products in action, you’re in luck. ITEXPO Las Vegas is next week, and there will be numerous opportunities for all of that and more.
At ITEXPO, Grandstream Networks (News - Alert), a provider of IP voice and video telephony and video surveillance solutions, is hosting a training workshop for resellers, distributors and interested parties to help them learn to set up, manage and customize its brand-new UCM6100 series IP PBX Appliance, an open-source, licensing-free SMB IP PBX (News - Alert) appliance for delivering secure and reliable voice, video, data and mobility apps. Powered by an advanced hardware platform based on Asterisk, the UCM6100 series helps smaller organizations to affordably use VoIP to increase productivity, provide better customer service, unify communications on a single platform, and save money on communication costs.
On Thursday, Aug. 29 from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m., the workshop will cover topics such as quick installation, provisioning, PSTN configuration, peering/SIP trunking configuration, system settings and customization, auto-attendant and IVR, call routing, security and troubleshooting, and attendees will receive the official UCM6100 series Training Certification. All attendees have the option to purchase the UCM6102 IP PBX appliance and GXP1405 that they can use at the workshop. Click here to register.
Grandstream is also presenting two IP-PBX related speaking sessions at the InGate UC/SIP trunking Summit. The first, “The IP PBX” will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 27 and will provide an overview of an IP PBX, its purpose within SIP/SIP trunking deployments, potential issues, how to build a total solution and the benefit of IP PBXs over legacy PBXs. The second, “On-Premise vs. Hosted IP PBX” will be on Wednesday, Aug. 28 and will highlight the differences between on-premises IP PBX and hosted IP PBX. It will also be exhibiting in two of its partners’ booths, ABP Technology at #730 and NETXUSA (News - Alert) at #302.
