Last week, Virgin Airlines announced its promotion to send their customer with the most frequent flyer miles for the year into outer space. They are not the only company offering big rewards for customer loyalty, with Visa, quite literally, stepping up its “game” in the rewards department.
With the football season kicking off, NFL sponsor Visa is kicking off some new rewards for football fans. Visa NFL Fan Offers provides Visa users a broad range of rewards, ranging from trips to 2014’s Superbowl XLVIII to access to John Madden’s viewing studio as part of their “Make it Epic” campaign.

Alex Craddock, head of North America marketing for Visa promises that the credit card company plans on doing just that; “With Visa NFL Fan Offers, we’re delivering exclusive and unique opportunities that put fans front and center of NFL football in ways that no other brand can.”
The first available reward is the opportunity to interview an NFL football player. The prizes only get bigger from there. Visa is running a number of commercials highlighting the once-in-a-lifetime experiences that customer loyalty has to offer this football season, giving users a reason to start racking up points on their Visa card instead of their other credit cards for the duration of the football season.
Even if you don’t win one of the “epic” awards, there are plenty incentives to participate, with special rewards from NFLShop.com, DIRECTV, Sports Illustrated, EA Sports, Lids, 24 Hour Fitness, and Papa John’s.
Customer loyalty is paying off in a big way as marketing departments get more and more creative, making spending your way into debt seem appealing to football fans, providing wives everywhere with a new excuse for buying shoes that husbands might just go for. Visa account holders can register for their chance to win at www.visa.com/ MakeItEpic.
