By Jamie Epstein, TMCnet Web Editor

Headquartered in Springfield, Ill. with a networking operations center located in Frisco, Tex. and two other offices spread out across the nation, ANPI, LLC and Zone Telecom, LLC, known as ANPI ZONE, provides an array of carrier services to incumbent local exchange carrier (ILEC), competitive local exchange carrier (CLEC), interexchange carrier (IXC) and regional wireless carrier markets in addition to IP communications for small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs).

Just today, the company shook up its executive team, with the addition of Randy Lemmo as senior vice president of carrier solutions. Lemmo will be responsible for the wholesale carrier services division and will be focusing on running and managing several departments such as billing, carrier solution’s sales and services, product management and development, and customer operations.

With over 22 years of experience working with facilities-based carriers, agents and resellers, he said in a statement, “I am excited to join a team of associates who share a vision to create opportunities for carriers that goes beyond the current regulatory uncertainty. My experience should provide a sound foundation to complement the extraordinary talent that exists here at ANPI ZONE.”

Lemmo received a bachelor of science in communications from Ohio University, with another certification in interpersonal communications and management. He also was vice president of Operations in 2005 and became chief operating officer in 2009 at ANI Networks.

Dave Lewis, ANPI ZONE’s chief executive officer added, “Randy joins our company at a time when our wholesale carrier customers are being presented with both unfolding environmental challenges, as well as significant and emerging marketplace opportunities. The experience Randy brings to the organization will be invaluable as we continue our mission to serve the rapidly evolving needs of our wholesale customers.”

As the company continues to grow, Lemmo has not only been the only recent edition to API ZONE’s stellar team. Earlier this month, Kenneth Jenks joined the company as vice president of Enterprise Product Operations. Jenks boasts nearly 32 years of telecommunications experience and was the director of operations engineering for AireSpring (News - Alert), Inc for five years.
