In sunny Miami Beach, Jim Riley will be representing Apptix (News - Alert) at ITEXPO East, an industry convention that is currently underway from January 31st and will last until February 3. Apptix is a top-tier business IT solutions and communications provider and Riley will take his seat as a panelist at the conference in a discussion called "Educating the Channel with Industry Standard Certifications."

This discussion will be supported by Louis Hayner (News - Alert), executive vice president and CSO of WVT Communications Group and Greg DeCingue, the co-founder of Crystal Technologies Group, Inc. In the discussion, the panelists will help businesses understand the need to adapt to new needs for channel partners when selling cloud products. Basically, they're going to tell you what everyone else is saying about technology: It's changing all the time and industries need to be on their toes to adapt to any changes beyond their control, embracing the progress instead of fighting it. New industry standards and guidelines will make the change rather challenging, but that's the reason why the panelists will be working closely with businesses, arming them with what they need to know to make their service providers become the next cloud computing rock star, taking advantage of the benefits of migrating to the cloud and selling new cloud-based solutions.

Jim Riley will be responsible for giving everyone the run-down on sales strategies, operations, and revenues while giving examples from Apptix. His experience goes back 25 years with sales and sales leadership with big tech companies like IBM (News - Alert), Oracle, Sun Microsystems and Rational Software.

In addition, Riley's worked hand-in-hand with companies that deal with cloud computing and emerging technology for at least a decade.
